New Features of the Enhanced TRICARE Retiree Dental Program coming soon
Last fall, Delta Dental of California was selected by the Department of Defense to continue as administrator of the new TRICARE Retiree Dental Program (TRDP) contract through September 2013. Under the new contract that begins on October 1, 2008, the TRDP will be an even better value than it is today, offering Uniformed Services retirees and their eligible family members exciting new features. Here is a comparison of some of the benefits offered under the current Enhanced TRDP, with a preview of the changes in store for enrollees in the new Enhanced TRDP, starting October 1:

Between now and October 1, this web site will begin undergoing updates and maintenance in preparation for transition to the new contract, including some very important and necessary security enhancements. These enhancements, required by the Department of Defense for the new contract, will take place from 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 through 6:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008 (Pacific Time). During this time, all computer self-service functions—such as the online enrollment application, Customer Inquiry Form and Consumer Toolkit®—will be unavailable.
When the new contract takes effect on October 1, all the information on this web site will reflect the new features of the Enhanced TRDP, including first-year premiums, additional benefits and details about the Enhanced-Overseas Program for enrollees living outside the TRDP service area. The Consumer Toolkit® will have moved to its new location at www.ddfsconsumertoolkit.com, so be sure to bookmark this new address for quick access to all your future TRDP needs. |
